The second Conference organized by the Association of Public Interest Lobbyists, titled “The Future of Lobbying,” will take place on January 16, 2024, starting at 6:00 PM at the “Miljenko Dereta” venue, Dobračina 55, Belgrade.
Using the example of the Ibar River, we will showcase how lobbying can be utilized to protect the public interest. More on environmental lobbying in the public interest will be presented by Olivera Radovanović, a representative of the „Green Network of Vojvodina.“ Speaker Obi Onyigwe will share his experiences with successful public interest lobbying in Nigeria, while Dr. Marko Filjović will discuss examples of public interest lobbying on a global level.
Participants in the panel discussion, Bojana Selaković, Siniša Janković, Ana Aleksić, and Aleksandar Marković, will explore whether it is possible to establish a system of public interest lobbying in our country.
As part of the evening’s program, the magazine “Lobisti” will present Certificates of Recognition for outstanding contributions to the development of ethical lobbying in 2023 to the following laureates: Prof. Dr. Predrag Jelenković, Prof. Dr. Emilija Popović, Prof. Dr. Ana Bovan, Dr. Nenad Vasić, and Prof. Dr. Alberto Alemanno.
